Guruprasad joined Little Angels School in November 2006. At the time he was a very hyperactive and violent child. I was forced to withdraw his name from the earlier school as they were not able to manage him. Initially in Little Angels School, Guru’s same behavior continued. He was kept for half day, so as to adjust to the new condition. Thereafter an extra attendant was kept especially for him. Slowly his behavior improved. The teachers and the staff members had to be very strict with him.
Now Guru’s behavior has undergone a sea change. He knows his responsibilities. He is very particular with his time table and his homework. He packs his own things like swimming costume, Karate kit as per the timetable without having being told to do so.
His vocabulary has also increased. The extracurricular activities like swimming, basketball, judo karate etc. helped a lot in improving his behavior. His behavior in school has improved. He respects his seniors and teachers and has become very quiet.
Though he still is not able to understand and comprehend his studies especially English language, literature, etc. But he does make efforts to read and complete the H.W given to him with the help of parents.
This year he is going to appear for NIOS exam for Bakery and computer. I as a mother had never imagined that he could come this far. Managing office and house had really frustrated me. In the year 2006 I was on verge of breakdown. But today I am confident and become a normal person someday.
We thank the school from the bottom of our hearts for helping us in handling Guruprasad.
